My name is Glen Mofford, born in Victoria, BC Canada in January 1954.
I enjoy researching, writing and talking about history.
Please read my blog on the history of drinking establishments in Victoria, BC.

If you have any information, photographs or stories to share regarding the pubs of Greater Victoria or downtown Vancouver then please contact me: glen54@telus.net
I have a B.A. in history from Simon Fraser University class of 1986.
I am currently researching and writing articles about the history of drinking establishments of Greater Victoria.
I've had two articles published in The Victoria News Group And have four more articles for possible public consumption, with the ultimate goal of publishing my first non-fiction history book: Aqua Vitae, An Illustrated History of the Hotel-Bars, Saloons and Taverns of Greater Victoria, 1851-1917.
My passion for history is not limited to the Hotel Industry but covers many aspects of social and political history.
I joined Flickr in March 2007 and began Victoria, BC: Surviving the Building Boom A photographic record of the changes taking place in the urban landscape of Greater Victoria.
For recreation I love to run and used to do alot of triathlons.
I used to own a pizza restaurant in town, Victoria Pizza Company - lasted ten months but a good excuse to leave my government job in accounts.
Please view my other interests and thank-you for reading this far.
Cheers!

I'm Male and Taken.
